Good morning,
As we head into the final stretch of the school year, we have several important updates and deadlines to ensure our graduation celebrations are a success. Please take a moment to review the following items:
Fundraising Reminders
Deadline: Friday, May 1st All Raffle Ticket and Co-op Fundraiser materials must be turned in by May 1st.
If you are looking to boost your student's grad account, we still have raffle ticket booklets available!
Format: Booklets of 5 tickets.
Cost: $20 per ticket.
Benefit: $5 from every ticket sold goes directly into your student’s grad account.
How to get them: Please have your grad see Mrs. Burjan to pick up additional booklets.
Safe Grad Silent Auction
We are currently collecting prizes for the Safe Grad silent auction. To give our committee enough time to organize the displays and prizes, we would love to have all donations dropped off at the school by the beginning of May. Your contributions make this event special for the kids!
We Need Your Help!
Events like these are only possible with volunteer support. We still have several spots to fill. Please check the links below to see where you can lend a hand:

Good afternoon,
Please review the details below.
Grad Photo Retakes: Graduation photo retakes are scheduled for April 16. Appointments must be booked by phone. Please visit Grad Photo Link for the booking information and phone number. The photographers ask that students bring their original photos to the retake session to help explain exactly what they would like to change or improve.
Mike Pritchard Memorial Raffle: The April fundraiser is officially underway. Tickets are available for pick up anytime from Mrs. Burjan. They come in booklets of 5, and there is no limit to how many each grad can sell. Tickets are $20 each, and grads earn $5 for every ticket sold. The draw will take place at the Mike Pritchard Memorial Golf Tournament on July 18. Please note that all sold and unsold tickets are due on Friday, May 1.
Co-op Gift Card Fundraising: I had 13 families show interest on the form sent out after the last meeting. I will be sending an email directly to these families by the end of the week with specific fundraising info. If you did not respond to the form but are interested in participating, please let me know before Thursday.
Silent Auction Prizes: The collection of silent auction prizes for Safe Grad is currently underway. Please have your grads submit their donations to Mrs. Burjan anytime.
Thank you for your support.

Email sent to parents on February 5
Good morning,
There was lots of information shared at last night’s meeting. Please read through this email carefully to the end and complete the April fundraising survey.
Meeting Information
Please find the links below to the meeting agenda and the Safe Grad volunteer sign-up sheets. We greatly appreciate any help you are able to provide. Kindly comment with your name to the document in the area where you are available to volunteer, and please provide either an email address or phone number where the coordinator can reach you.
Agenda:
Volunteer Sign Ups:
Additionally, I’ve linked the Silent Auction Donation Letter for anyone willing to request a donation from a business:
Fundraising:
Included in the package sent home at the meeting were the fundraising forms for our current fundraisers: Archie’s Pizza, Bothwell Cheese, and Mighty Meats. Links to these forms are included below as well.
All orders are due Monday, February 23. Pick-up is scheduled for Wednesday, March 18. More details will be shared closer to the date.
Grad Photos:
If you have not already done so, please ensure your grad is signed up for grad photos on March 2, 3, or 4. There is a retake day on Thursday, April 16 for anyone unable to attend in March; however, that date fills quickly. Please try to book one of the original dates if possible.
April Fundraising Survey:
We have the opportunity to run two additional fundraisers in April:
-
Co-op Gift Cards
Grads will earn 10% back on all Co-op gift card sales. These cards can be used at any Co-op gas station or grocery store for anything sold, including fuel.
We have been given a total sales cap of $10,000. Depending on interest, I may need to limit the amount each grad can sell to ensure everyone has a fair opportunity.
-
Mike Pritchard Memorial Raffle Tickets
Tickets are $20 each, with grads earning $5 per ticket sold. There are three grand prizes:
-
Winnipeg Jets game trip (includes tickets, flights, accommodations, and spending money)
-
QLake Lodge 3-day fishing trip for 6 people
-
$1,000 Liquor Mart gift card
In addition, each ticket purchaser receives 2-for-1 green fees at one of four golf courses (Carman, Morden, Winkler, or Scottswood).
Tickets come in booklets of 5, and there is no limit to how many each grad can sell. The draw will take place at the Mike Pritchard Memorial Golf Tournament on July 18.
Please use the link below to complete the survey indicating whether you are interested in either of these April fundraisers. This will help me manage the gift cards and determine how many raffle tickets to request.

Good afternoon,
Grads have the opportunity to fundraise through the sale of Moose tickets for the game on March 6 at 7:00 PM when the Manitoba Moose take on the Toronto Marlies. Tickets cost $20, and grads earn $10 from every ticket they sell!
Tickets will remain available right up until the day of the game, so you’ll have plenty of time to sell if you choose to participate. The purchase link is provided below.
Manitoba Moose Grad Fundraiser
You are welcome to share this link with others—just please ensure that anyone purchasing tickets to support your grad enters your grad’s name in the Create your Group Name field at checkout. If this section is left blank, I will not be able to assign the funds to the correct grad account.
Thank you and happy selling!
